MARCO resumes this project, which started in 2008, based on the building of the museum itself as a place of memory and a symbolic space. 

Its aim is to collect testimonies about the past of the building of MARCO, before its rehabilitation and during its new use as the Centre of Contemporary Art. The objective of this Project is to help us compile the ‘living memory’ of the building through personal experiences. Testimonies are collected either by writing, with voice or video recordings. We also encourage the people who participates to provide documentation such as photographs, letters, etc., that they consider of interest to build the images and stories of the past. The collected material will be digitalized and deposited in the Library-Documentation Centre.

This is an initiative with a vocation for continuity, and will continue to be developed in the coming months through the Library-Documentation Centre.
