Schoolchildren. MARCO Explorer. In an Unknown Territory.
Until June 12 MARCO's educative programme for schoolchildren continues. During this period, the programme revolves around Santiago Sierra exhibition in the spaces of the ground floor. Under the generic title of ‘MARCO EXPLORER. In an unknown territory', visits and workshops are adapted to the participants' different ages. The students themselves build a dialogue with the works of art from their previous experiences and knowledge, or from what they think when in direct contact with the artistic object, as a way to get closer to contemporary art and to the work of this artist. According to the characteristics of each group, formal issues are tackled (organisation, appearance, distribution, scale, rhythm) or those dealing with content - observance exercises, analysis, thinking or interpretation.
