Bibliographical Exhibitions and Documentary Reports
Bibliographical items displayed periodically at the Library compile information regarding the artists present in the exhibitions. Those usually go together with digital documentary reports which include links to articles, audios, videos, etc. in order to highlight the presence of these artists on the Net. Information can be found either by clicking on each exhibition on our website or by visiting the “Novas” section on our link to the Library.
Guided tours to the Library-Documentation Center
In order to bring the public the opportunity to have a look at the funds and services of the Library-Documentation Center, you can schedule your guided visit for students or other groups, at the hand of the head of the Library-Documentation Center. The visit can be completed with a tour to the exhibition, guided by the Museum assistants.

Documenting MARCO
Beginning 2008, this proposal is based on the museum building itself as a place of memory and symbolism. By collecting testimonies of personal experiences about the past of the MARCO building before the rehabilitation process and its new use as Contemporary Art Center, we gather the 'living memory' of the building. Written testimonies, but also voice or video recordings help us encourage interested persons to provide documentation such as photographs, letters, etc. which may be of interest as an image or description of the past. The gathered material is then digitized and stored in the Library-Documentation Center.
MARCO's Library-Documentation Centre also offers an inter-library loan and publications exchange service with other centres with a similar nature. Should you be interested in this service, please contact us so that we can give you additional information regarding this issue.
