Friends of MARCO
The Friends of MARCO Association is founded in 2003 when its Internal Regulations are approved by the MARCO Foundation Board of Trustees, and it becomes a permanent member of FEAM, [observación: aquí podría ir un enlace a la FEAM] Federación Española de Amigos de los Museos [Spanish Federation of Friends of the Museums].

Our aims
- To contribute to the development and maintenance of MARCO as a project
- To raise the civil society awareness in order to preserve and spread our heritage
- To be a bridge between MARCO, the city and the Museum surroundings
- To take part in the museum's activities, by supporting its initiatives and projects, creating new habits and promoting cultural diversity

Free admission to every national Museum
Guided tours
To MARCO's exhibitions, guided by the curator (previews)
To other exhibitions, guided by specialised staff
To artist workshops
Cycle "Outside MARCO"
Tours lead by contemporary art experts to exhibitions in the main galleries of the city held on the first Saturday of the month
Cycle "Do you know your city, do you know your surroundings?"
Guided tours to different areas of Vigo and Galicia: special attention is paid to architecture
One-day trips
To nearby Museums or Art Centres like Fundação Serralves in Porto (Portugal), CGAC, Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea in Santiago de Compostela, or Museo de Bellas Artes in Corunna, depending on their exhibition schedules.
Journeys throughout Spain and abroad
We search for what is culturally outstanding like biennials, exhibitions or special events in places with an active cultural, social or artistic life and full of possibilities.
